How Do I . . .
Look up Impact Factor
Impact Factor is a quantitative measure of the frequency with which the
"average article" published in a given scholarly journal has been cited in a
particular period. It is a measure of importance of scientific journals that is
calculated each year by the Institute for Scientific Information, and published
in the Journal Citation Report (JCR).
Impact Factors have a controversial influence on the way published scientific
research is perceived and evaluated.
To find the Impact Factor of a certain journal, go to:

Then click on GO:

There are two sections:
JCR Science Edition
JCR Social Sciences Edition
By default the first is selected, but you can change the selection.
On the right hand you have 3 options to select from:
View a group of journals by Subject Category
Search for a specific journal
View all journals
Select one of the above choices then follow screen directions.
Note: Remember that Impact Factor is calculated for only about 8,500
journals, so it could be that the journal you are looking for is not included.
